Emmy's 8 Years OLD!

Emmy Waterton - Summer 2008
I cannot believe that Emmy is 8 years old! It is weird when your children start hitting memorable years/ages. Tennyson turned 12 which means he started Mutual & Young Mens. I dropped him off at his first Mutual activity this past week, it was a little emotional. I can just remember going to my Mutual activities and can't believe that I'm taking my kid to his own Mutual! Emmy turns 8, so she will be getting baptized! What an exciting time for her. The big baptism day will be next weekend, February 7th. She will share her big day with another boy/friend in our Branch. He turns 8 on the 6th of February. Gramma Barbie & Grandpa Max will come down for the big day too.

Here is a little "diddy" about Emmy:
E - energetic, enthusiastic

M - marvelous

M - munchkin

Y - Yappy!

Here are 8 things I LOVE about Emmy:
1. That she is slower than Molasses in the mornings!

2. That she loves her big brother so much!

3. When she gives her dad big LOVES...I love to watch it!

4. That she loves to dance and sing!

5. That she loves music almost as much as I do.

6. That she is my little girl and will always be my little girl.

7. That she is so smart, is a math WHIZ and loves to READ.
8. The way she giggles and loves LIFE!

I love you Emmy to the moon, stars & back again........................... Happy Birthday, My little Mini Me. Love, MOM!

We are celebrating her birthday tonight....so stay tuned for pictures! She's getting her OWN MP3 player, I stayed up last night & loaded that thing with all her favs! Tricia Yearwood, Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler, HSM, Taylor Swift, Pink, & Katie Pery! :-)

more of what I'm lovin'

So I had so much fun listing that I'm lovin' that I wanted to add to it...that or else, I'm just that unoriginal and think of nothing else to blog about. Really there are lots of things I could blog about right....

More of my FAVS:
Here is what I love when I'm stuck on the couch writing paper after paper and posting away. Young & Smylie Licorice Bites (Black Licorice Flavored). Oh my gosh, if you LOVE black licorice, as I DO, you need, NO you HAVE to try these. They are...addicting!

Dark Chocolate. Somewhere between my childhood and this thing they call ADULThood, my tastebuds have changed & I love Dark Chocolate. BUT not just any old Dark Chocolate, I'm only lovin' DOVES! Try it...you'll feel the magic that happens, it's....well MAGICAL!
COKE Zero. I love this stuff, it takes just the real thing. I wonder, how do they do it?

Extra Fruit Sensations Gum. I love this stuff, it is kind of a nice change-up from minty GUM!
So here are a few of my favorites that are not food related:
1. my treadmill (maybe because of all my favorite foods & that extra 5 lbs I seem to have gotten for Christmas)
2. my kids
3. sports (I love watching sports)
4. Biggest Loser
5. Grey's Anatomy
6. BIG Love (I have to confess, we just recently got HBO and I'm lovin' this show). I ask myself, why am I so intrigued by a show about Polygomy.......it is just so good!
7. teaching...I have gotten the opportunity to teach a few classes this semester with my mentor teacher and I love teaching...love it!
8. Friends
9. My family
10. Last but not least...My Husband, he's a FaVoRiTe, for sure!

Enjoy your day!
Make it the time of your life.
What are some of your favorites?

3 day weekends & what I'm lovin'

I am lovin' that we have a 3 day weekend this week. I love it when Thursday turns into FRIDAY! Double Yahoo's!

This week seemed to fly by, I think when I have so much school work to do & I put if off...then it really flies by. Why am I such a procrastinator? Do I really do that good of work under such pressure, I don't think so! I am really going to try & stay on top of things this semester. Since it is my last semester of classes.
The teacher that I am spending time with this semester, is just GREAT, I might add gave me an application for scholarships. I know it is NO guarantee that I will them one but how nice is that, that she even thought of me and offered it to me. It is from a ladies organization that she belongs too. I'm going to fill it out and see what happens, never hurts to try...right?

I am lovin' this beautiful spring-like weather we have been having. I should say, sun shiney weather. It has been chilly but the sky has been so blue and the sun so bright, I love it. Today was a little overcast with bits of snow but it is January...what do I expect!?

I am lovin' my GREEN dell laptop. I just love being able to sit on my butt....on the couch or wherever and do my homework. Love love love it.

This is me with my new love, actually on Christmas Day...but whatever, I look the same except NO cold sore now!

I am loving PINK by Victoria Secret or Bath/Body Works (Fresh & Clean Scent). I just love this stuff. It is my new smell. Do you have scents for the season? I am a total seasonal scent person. Like I can't burn cinnamon scents in the summer, just NOT right or fruity in the winter. Am I wierd or what!
Do you know what else I am loving...my scentsy burner! Love it! One of my schoolmates from my childhood has these boots on in one of her pictures and I love them. So I ordered me some stylish gumboots, I feel so vogue!

Have a GREAT weekend & make it the Time of you LIFE! Candice

Weekend Fun, Magie, Shopping & Deals

This weekend, we (the kids & I) got to go to Great Falls with Dave, while he worked the Magie. It was so fun, we stayed in a hotel, swam, stayed up late, ate continental breakfast & shopped the stores. I let Tennyson bring a bring a friend (sometimes an extra is just easier) and that was the BEST thing I've ever done. They had a great time at the Ag Fair, looking all the farm stuff, farming equipment etc. etc. etc. Tennyson gained quite the reputation, there was booth next to Dave's that was selling ropes, bridles, tack etc. So he was quite the wheeler and dealer, he got some ropin' reigns and a pink rope for his sister for quite a discount. He is such a character, he cracks me up on a regular basis. He is so confident, and that is something that you can't just teach children, they either have or they don't. I just love him.

Emmy & I took the boys to John Deere, so they would shut up and then dropped them off at the fair and then we had a great time shopping the stores! She is my best shopping partner. We had a great time!

The kids both had birthday money that was burning a hole in their pockets, so it was fun to let them go and spend their money! :-)

The weekend was fun and it seems like it will be the end of the fun for awhile, I need to get my self really motivated and buckle down for this last semester of classes! I can't believe how fast the time has flown by, December I'll be all finished. I'm so excited, I really can see the light...well almost! There is alot of work to do between now & then.

NO pictures this time. I forgot my camera in the pick-up, maybe tomorrow I'll put some up.

Have a great week.
Make it the TIME of your LIFE.

Birthday BOY!

Today is Tennyson's 12th birthday! AH! I cannot believe that my little boy is 12, I almost want to cry. Where does the time go? I remember just like it was yesterday trying to give birth to this little....."bundle of joy". It was that memorable......or that miserable. (The labor that is).

Here are 12 things I love about Tennyson:
1. His name (Tennyson ROGER Miller)
2. His desire to be the best
3. His sense of humor (love love love it)
4. His laugh
5. He is such a hard worker
6. That he loves to play
7. That is such a smart kid & gets good grades
8. That everyone that meets him LOVES him!
9. That he is my baby boy & will always be my boy!
10. That he looks & acts just like his......dad & grandpa!
11. His beauty marks on his face
12. His love of LIFE!

Happy Birthday Tennyson, I love love love you to the MOON, STARS & back AGAIN!

We celebrated his birthday last night because Dave was supposed to go to Great Falls today but his plans changed.....so he is home today which really means that we will celebrate Tennyson's birthday ALL week! What a lucky kid. Here are some pictures from his birthday supper last night.

Weekend FUN!

So, my post is a little tardy but I wanted to blog about our fun weekend with Dave's cousin Wendy. She has 5 kids but left the youngest 2 at home with her mom and just brought the oldest 3 over. The kids have such a great time together & get along well. They played Wii...OK, who's kidding, we ALL played the Wii. It was so fun, we actually got into some more of the games, like Tennis. Dave took all the kids up to the local CPC gym and played some basketball. Dave really is just a big kid and will take any excuse to go play some "ball".
Not only did we have fun at they gym and playing the Wii but we also took a little trip to Fairmont Hot Springs. The new slide was up and runnin'...it was so fun. We went on Saturday night, so it was dark and kind of steamy! :-) I love that place, can't get enough of it.
Here are some pictures post hot springs. Dave gave all the kids a "Payback" t-shirt, so they are sportin' their new shirts.

A few of my favorite things!

Besides my Dell laptop, which I love. Dave got me the rest of the Twilight Series. I'm not the fastest of readers, but I'm trudging along and LOVE love love them. I cannot wait to see the movie. We never go to movies, so I'll have to wait until I can get it on DVD or watch it on TV. Another highlight of our break was watching Momma Mia. I think the best part of it......watching it with Emmy. She has the whole thing memorized. I don't even know how many times she watched it at my mom's but she knows all the songs and dances along too. It is great!

Another favorite that I bought for the whole family is the Wii fit. I went right home after work and started on my New Year's work-out goal. I have got to hit the Wii Fit & the treadmill. The holidays were way too kind....to my waste-line! I enjoyed everything in site.So if you have set goals or resolutions, I hope you have the strength to keep them and can wade out the rainy days. That was our RS Lesson on Sunday, being able to carry on....despite our obstacles. Sometimes it is rain, but rain does not have to be a bad thing. Rain help us grow, sun only dries us out.
So if your get rain, enjoy it and grow!

Christmas & New Year's

I have totally been slacking on my blogging....does anyone even look at it?

We had a fabulous Christmas. We got the kids a Wii (and really the entire family). We have had so much fun with that! We have played it non-stop since we got it. Emmy was the 1st to Pro-bowling status and Tennyson was the first one to score the highest score! Grandpa had to let his butt muscle heal-up.....we've got form, let me tell ya!
Christmas morning the kids got up way too early but it was a fun day & we enjoyed it! Santa was very nice to all of us. I got a new green Dell laptop, I love it! It is so nice and will be so nice to use for my school work. Over the break, the kids & I have been having lots of fun playing games on it. Emmy is a mean on the solitaire. I have literally spent hours on it! Love, love, love it!

Look at that Laptop...oh ya, she's pretty cute too. Ha ha! :-)

OK, so we are a little crazy about our Wii games!

Dave and Tenny boxing.
This girls got some Wii bowling form.....she's known as Emmy (Pro)!
WE spent the week of Christmas at our house and then decided to head to Canada to celebrate New Year's with the Canada family. I haven't been home around this time of year for years! It was great fun, we spent lots of time with my mom, max, the kids, Julie & Max's granddaughter's. WE watched lots of movies, Transformers & Momma Mia topped the list! It was a great New Year's. We tried to head home on Friday, jan. 2nd but the roads were horrible. WE made to the border to find out that I-15 South to Great Falls was closed! So we turned around and headed back to Leth for one more night. It was a fun night though. We made homemade pizza, went to a movie & hung out! When we left on Saturday it was -30C, that is stinkin' cold. Plus, I cannot believe how much snow they have there. People were getting stuck on the road all over the place. The kids spent most days at the Sugar Bowl sledding. It was GREAT fun.

Ah! Dave & I on New Year's Eve

I hope you were able to spend the holidays with the ones you love. I hated to see it all come to an end. I was so upset when DAVE made up take down the TREE. I was not ready. I hope all have a GREAT and prosperous New Years!
